Heyo, I’m Rio. I’m an MLIS student and your LASSA Co-President for 2020-21 academic year. Aside from LASSA, I’m a co-coordinator with Out on the Shelves Library, a Technical Services student librarian at Xwi7xwa Library, and in the First Nations Curriculum Concentration (FNCC). I’m looking forward to being part of LASSA during this interesting time and helping us all make the most of our time at the UBC iSchool.

Hi, I’m Anita. Originally from Prince George, BC, (traditional lands of the Lheidli T’enneh) I’m currently a MLIS student in the FNCC. I learned a lot in my former role of Event Coordinator last year and I’m looking forward to serving as your LASSA Co-President and working with the new executive team. In addition to LASSA, I’m a also a Co-op Student at the Making Research Accessible initiative and a Co-Coordinator at Out on the Shelves Library.
